Summary:

"Think and grow rich", is a book, written after a detailed analysis of successful persons over more than 20 years, by Napoleon Hill. In his struggling period, he was working as a writer for magazines. He had to write about the success stories of successful people. For that purpose, he got a chance to meet and interview Andrew Carnegie. He was among the most successful people at that time. He was the creator of the American Steel industry prominence was known all over the world.

During his meeting with Napoleon Hill, he gave a task to him and requested him to complete the task as a challenge. But the condition was that it may take more than 20 years to complete the job and Hill took 29 seconds to accept his challenge because could see the upcoming great results as the output of the given challenge. after that, he was ready to find the secrets to achieving great success and share them with the rest of the world.

Some phenomenal facts and secrets have been disclosed successfully in this book. Every chapter contains a secret that can lead you toward the highest pinnacle of success. Those who want to grab it can squeeze in all the knowledge and concepts given in the book and make their dream a reality.

2. Faith in your ability: The desire when mixed with complete faith can boost the chances of getting the riches because our subconscious mind stores every kind of information whether positive or negative. It cannot differentiate between positive and negative information. It simply stores all such information and never forgets that. And it always gives a faster response to that information which is mixed with faith and emotions.

3. Autosuggestion: Autosuggestion helps in bombarding the subconscious mind with burning desire every day until the subconscious mind gets used to it and does the rest of the job for you.  Autosuggestion refers to the repetition of verbal messages given to the subconscious mind created by oneself by writing on a piece of paper a proper plan mentioning the proper amount of money you want to possess including a proper deadline when to complete those targets and speak out loudly the written lines daily before admitting to bed and after waking up in the morning.

4. Specialised knowledge:  Specialised knowledge is nothing but mastery in one subject so that no one can beat that person. one can get mastery in a given knowledge at any age and at any point in life. The knowledge is freely available to everyone and is not limited to academic knowledge. Specialized knowledge gives astounding results which average knowledge can't.

5. Imagination: Things happen only when our brain develops an imagination of acquiring something. The attainment of success become fast after visualizing the goals. There are no limitations to the imagination. One can imagine anything in one's life. There is so much evidence of changing the world through inventions. And the subtle cause for this change is the mere idea picturized as imagination in the mind.

6. Organised Planning: for organized planning, self-analysis is very necessary. It is very important to know the strengths and weaknesses of the self. So that the decision cannot be staggered. when the analysis is done, start rendering your service and selling the personal merchandise intelligently by selecting the befitting organization. Organized planning coordinated with mastermind groups with proper awareness of all your strengths and weaknesses can help acquire great riches.

7. Decision: The quality of making decisions quickly and being obstinate with that is one of the greatest qualities of great persons. They always follow the principle of keeping their eyes open with their mouth shut, Decisions can be made firm by not disclosing the plans and ideas in front of everyone. The way of explaining how to transmute the burning desire with faith, proper planning mixed with persistence along with the use of infinite intelligence into the physical monetary equivalent with the use of proper facts and figures is astounding.

The concept of infinite intelligence fascinates me because of its uniqueness and all the facts assembles to explain this concept are so true and full of evidence that it is difficult to deny its existence.

Hill beautifully explained the existence of this infinite intelligence and the interconnection of matter and energy in the universe with the example of putting all five fingers in five holes of a wall, all the fingers seem different and separate from the other end of the wall. so, a person standing on the front side always assumes them separately. But the common arm behind the wall also exists.

So it is only up to the receiver whether he/she wants to be only on the front side of the wall and accept it as the ultimate reality or to expand the vision behind the wall and see the common arm from where the fingers emerge separately.

At the start, it seems to be complicated to be familiar with all the facts with some difficult vocabularies to understand but this is a book to read with a calm and free mind which is open up to grab new ideas. Only then you will be able to capture the concepts clearly and can bring more clarification by reading it 2-3 times.

Suitable for determined persons who truly want to do something in their life from the core of their hearts. Also helpful for those adults who still can't decide what to do and how to achieve success in life. A great experience to read with its unique ways of revealing the secrets of great people.
